My Pore Minimizing Routine.
Hi, I'm Andrea - founder of MOTHR EARTH PROOF®, and if there's one thing I get asked about, it's, "How do you get such fine skin texture and barely visible pores?"
Today I'll take you through my own pore minimizing routine - completely non-comedogenic, skin-friendly and infused with both practical knowledge and powerful botanical science.
Step 1: THE END OF BLACK PORES (Peel + Shine Facial Wake-Up Call)
This first step is essential. We don't call this buttery soft balm for nothing The End of Black Pores. It purifies the skin without drying it out and removes blockages deep within the pores. Instead of harsh acids, we use shea butter, mango, black rice, and lavender to gently refresh sebum. Because the skin does not have to defend itself against dehydration, your pores visibly shrink over time.
Step 2: SERUM Skin Drink with niacinamide and Ectoin
A good pore minimizing serum contains niacinamide - and our SERUM Skin Drink contains it in a generous, skin-friendly dose. But it goes beyond that. Ectoin, aloe vera and symphytum work together to refine skin texture, soothe pores and reduce redness. This is my daily moisturizing step for refined skin texture.
Step X: MIST Facial Toner
Our pore minimizing toner contains flower hydrolates such as helicryse, rose and yarrow that have an astringent effect. I use it twice a day for freshness, balance and to improve absorption of my serum. A glass skin refining vibe in a few sprays.
Step SPA: Herbal Miracle Mask®
Every week I treat my skin to this powdery miracle full of baobab, neem, tulsi and magnolia. These herbs work deeply on skin flora and sebum regulation. This is my secret weapon in my pore minimizing skincare routine - the results are visible and long-lasting.
Additional steps that make a difference

Ice baths for your face (or use an ice roller) help instantly refine your pores.

Drink sage, red clover and Dong Quai tea daily to reduce hot flashes and support hormonal balance.

Eat the Japanese or Oriental way: lots of plant-based foods, seaweed and legumes. Did you know that Japanese women hardly suffer from menopause symptoms, hair loss and enlarged pores? Their way of eating literally protects their skin (and body) from the inside out. The moment I get hot flashes again, I know I need to look at my diet and adjust it. And one thing helps the most besides the type of food and that is: eat hot at t breakfast, lunch and dinner and absolutely avoid anything cold. Funny huh, we Westerners hardly understand that. But it works. And that's what it's all about.
